Who am I...

My name is Merav Auzenne, I am an executive coach and an independent licensed therapist In the District of Colombia -Washington, D.C. (LGPC), and the State of Ohio (LPCC).

I was born and raised in Israel. I grew up in the city of Ashkelon by the beach, where I could see the sunrise and sunset - nature is a happy place for me. My time serving in the Israeli Defense Force has shaped me. I learned to survive difficult situations and discovered my strength by persisting and never giving up. This experience opened my eyes and taught me one of the most powerful lessons the power of meeting people with acceptance and no judgment. After my service, I got my Bachelor's in Business Administration. I then worked as an economist in a private bank and the Ministry of Health, learning about the corporate world, finance, and health systems.

Though I liked the firms I was with, a turning point was realizing I did not feel fulfilled with what I was doing. I decided to pursue acting classes and was intrigued by the performing world. I moved to NYC to pursue drama studies. It was powerful, intriguing, and exciting. I discovered the role of the performing arts in healing, which led me to obtain my certificate in Creative Art Therapy at the New School University. It was a powerful experience, with many thanks to my teacher and role model, Louise Montello. At that point, my path was clear, I realized that my true desire is to help others. I pursued a degree in Fine Arts and have practiced therapy for the last 15 years.

As a therapist, I see the challenges people face working in an organizational environment. I wanted to broaden my services to help professionals achieve goals and address the challenges they face. I got my Executive Coaching Certificate through New York University and continue to help, listen, support, and encourage people. I am fascinated by the brain and people. It is incredible how we are so different and similar in so many ways.
